About This Role
- Design and modify database structures to optimize processing considering hardware capacity and operational constraints.
- Perform database analysis, design, administration, monitoring, tuning, and support in production environments to meet performance standards.
- Develop and implement backup, recovery, and data archival strategies ensuring security and application optimization.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of information technology experience.
- At least 1 year of experience specifically in database administration.
- Ability to identify complex problems proactively and develop effective solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working with database design and administration in production environments with performance and security focus.
- Capable of independently managing database backup, recovery, and optimization processes.
- Skilled in evaluating and improving database operational standards including query performance and reliability.
