About This Role
- Design, build, and operate distributed platform services and APIs using Java and Python on Kubernetes or equivalent cloud-native infrastructure.
- Own platform reliability, scalability, observability, and incident response, applying Operational and Engineering Excellence principles.
- Guide architecture and system design decisions, mentor engineers, and establish engineering standards for a newly formed platform team serving data and AI workloads.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years professional software engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Spark; experience with microservices, distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud-native engineering, and Big Data technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in software engineering or related area as per listed qualifications.

- Experienced in both platform engineering and practical data engineering, comfortable working across infrastructure and data pipelines.
- Skilled in operational and engineering excellence with a strong focus on reliability, incident management, and continuous improvement.
