About This Role
- Lead and execute high-visibility projects focused on test automation, site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, and infrastructure automation for Mastercard's Priceless Platform.
- Mentor and grow engineering teams by fostering SRE culture including chaos engineering, observability, progressive rollouts, and CI/CD pipeline integration across multiple frameworks and languages.
- Drive operational excellence by architecting monitoring, logging, alerting, performance tuning, and incident response to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a technical lead in Test Automation, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright using TypeScript/Python, GitHub Actions, and AWS Cloud services including developing, deploying, and securing services.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Work location: Pune, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-visibility technical projects in fast-paced, multi-regional engineering environments with hands-on contribution.
- Strong experience in cloud-native engineering, specifically AWS, with practical knowledge of infrastructure automation, deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags), and observability.
- Demonstrates operational leadership in building and scaling test automation frameworks and SRE practices to enhance velocity, reliability, and quality in regulated or high-availability systems.
