About This Role
- Lead a global engineering team delivering and operating GSK’s identity authentication services, including single sign-on (SSO) for workforce and securing cloud, non-human identities, and AI agents.
- Own and execute the engineering roadmap to implement passwordless and phishing-resistant authentication, cloud identity security, secrets vaulting, and integrate AI for identity operations.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards (GxP, SOX, ISO 27001/42001, EU AI Act), lead incident response, and set secure implementation standards across GSK’s identity environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, cybersecurity or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in identity or security with leadership of engineering teams delivering enterprise identity/security services in large organizations.
- Strong expertise in SSO protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0), passwordless authentication, conditional access, and experience securing identity in Azure (Microsoft Entra ID) and cloud environments.
- Experience securing non-human identities, secrets management including vaulting and credential rotation, with integration into identity lifecycle and governance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leader with experience unifying multiple identity engineering domains (SSO, cloud, NHI, AI agents) into cohesive global teams and delivery.
- Track record of delivering large scale authentication and identity security services in complex, regulated environments, including pharmaceutical or equivalent highly regulated industries.
- Depth in authenticating AI agents, applying identity engineering to cloud security, managing compliance with security and AI regulation, and integrating advanced secret management tools.
