About This Role
- Own and evolve New Relic’s global Kubernetes-based internal platform ensuring high availability and performance.
- Drive automation and improvements in internal tooling to streamline platform delivery and operations.
- Manage production environments with a focus on resilient infrastructure and handling high-severity incidents.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes primitives and experience developing custom Kubernetes Operators.
- Proficiency in Golang for infrastructure automation and systems programming.
- Visa sponsorship not available; must meet eligibility to work requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced operations-focused engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes Day 2 operations and cloud-native scaling tools (e.g., Karpenter, Cluster API).
- Comfortable managing production-scale Kubernetes infrastructure and responding to high-severity production issues.
- Hands-on experience with tooling like Helm and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux) and preferably holds CKA certification.
