About This Role
- Design, build, and operate scalable batch and incremental data ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS services and Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain Snowflake data models and transformation pipelines implementing medallion architecture layers with data quality, lineage, and security controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into secure, reliable, cost-effective data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ETL/ELT development roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, Step Functions) and Snowflake (stages, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks) in production.
- Advanced SQL skills including complex transformations and query optimization; proficient in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with data ingestion from varied sources (APIs, databases, files), change data capture, incremental loading, and implementing data quality and monitoring solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise building and optimizing Snowflake data models and pipelines with medallion architectures and strong data governance.
- Experienced in designing scalable, cost-effective AWS data ingestion and orchestration solutions including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Background in supporting AI/ML datasets and MLOps workflows is a plus, indicating ability to handle advanced analytics and ML pipeline requirements.
