About This Role
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin with a focus on Jetpack components, Coroutines, and dependency injection.
- Integrate and manage secure API communication including REST, WebSockets, and real-time device-server connectivity.
- Implement offline data handling, secure data transactions, and hardware integration including USB, Bluetooth, NFC, and smart-card technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-10+ years of experience in Android development with Kotlin and Java.
- Strong expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager, Navigation).
- Proficient with secure API integration, socket programming, and device communication protocols.
- Experience with security standards like JWT, OAuth 2.0, data encryption, and certificate management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in domains such as Automatic Fare Collection (Metro/Rail), Public Transport, NCMC, EMV QR ticketing, or POS payment systems.
- Comfortable working on applications requiring tight hardware integration and secure financial transaction processing.
- Capable of managing CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and production support in complex Android environments.
