About This Role
- Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, cost-efficient cloud-native platforms primarily on GCP using GKE, including reusable platform blueprints and infrastructure abstractions.
- Develop and maintain GitOps deployment pipelines, automated workflows, and internal tooling to improve infrastructure provisioning and developer experience.
- Own end-to-end technical initiatives from design through production support, including security best practices, cost optimization, cluster lifecycle, and troubleshooting complex cloud and Kubernetes issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in cloud, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with GCP and Kubernetes, including production experience with GKE.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, or equivalent) and GitOps tools (Argo CD or Flux) plus GitHub Actions/Workflows.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation; strong understanding of cloud networking, gateways, Linux, and distributed systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Expert in GCP cloud platform engineering with deep Kubernetes/GKE operational experience and proven troubleshooting skills.
- Experienced in building reusable infrastructure modules and self-service platform capabilities to simplify developer infrastructure use.
- Capable of driving initiatives independently with ownership mindset from design to production readiness and operational support, including policy-driven deployments and security governance.
