About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-performance data processing pipelines and distributed applications using Java and Apache Spark.
- Optimize Spark jobs for performance by managing memory, partitioning, serialization, and resource utilization on cluster managers (e.g., Kubernetes, YARN).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and streaming solutions, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with testing frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-6 years professional software engineering experience, with 2-4 years focusing on scalable distributed data processing applications using Java and Apache Spark.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+), Apache Spark (RDDs, DataFrames, SQL, Streaming), and distributed ecosystems (HDFS, YARN, Hive).
- Hands-on experience with event streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka), relational and NoSQL databases, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and Git version control.

- Experienced in building and tuning large-scale distributed data pipelines with strong Java and Spark expertise.
- Proficient in analyzing and optimizing distributed workloads using cluster orchestration tools like Kubernetes or YARN.
