About This Role
- Deliver GL monthly closing and reporting services ensuring accurate booking of transactions and account reconciliations.
- Prepare manual journal entries, ad-hoc reports, and contribute to business reviews and compliance with accounting policies and audit/SOX requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements including automation; act as a super-user and coach junior analysts on GL closing and reporting activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional qualification like CA/ACCA/CPA preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience in GL accounting, preferably in an international multicultural environment; 1-2 years for CA/ACCA/CPA qualified candidates.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs, GL accounting, closing and reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO (end user) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; English fluency mandatory.

- Proactive in identifying operational issues and driving process improvements including automation.
- Able to operate independently with strong organizational skills and able to coach and manage junior team members.
