About This Role
- Architect and implement REST APIs and backend services that handle data at large scale with high availability and performance.
- Lead and mentor developers by managing work allocation, owning delivery, and providing performance feedback.
- Troubleshoot application issues, work with infrastructure teams on major incidents, and innovate scalable solutions including GenAI-powered backend services.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of four years of professional experience.
- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) and Node JS with deep knowledge of Express JS or Restify frameworks, and experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB.
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring developers including work allocation, delivery ownership, and performance feedback.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting high-availability cloud applications, preferably using microservices architecture.
- Skilled in backend development with strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and code quality including clean architecture and SOLID principles.
- Familiar with advanced backend capabilities such as GenAI-powered services (prompt routers, embedding search, RAG pipelines) and comfortable performing technical deep-dives into code.
