About This Role
- Maintain and support DevOps platform capabilities including build, source control, deployment, and test environments following defined specifications.
- Complete defined, smaller scale DevOps tasks within expected timelines with team guidance, contributing to platform stability and smooth workflows.
- Assist in troubleshooting, monitoring, automation using AI tools, configuring CI/CD pipelines, and supporting internal teams to effectively use DevOps services.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or related area.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of software engineering principles, coding/scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python), basic monitoring tools knowledge, and understanding of Infrastructure as Code and public cloud platforms (GCP or Azure).
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, solve defined problems, and understand root cause analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Early career engineer with experience supporting development and test environments within an Agile, collaborative team setting.
- Operational familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, TeamCity, Azure DevOps) and deployment tools (Octopus Deploy), and Windows Server or SQL Server environments.
- Comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants for automation and troubleshooting, with interest in containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and GitOps practices.
