About This Role
- Maintain and enhance transactional databases and data warehouse to ensure high data quality and performance across business data estate.
- Develop, review, and optimize ETL and real-time data movement processes ensuring security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within the chosen tech stack.
- Support data governance through documentation, compliance with data protection, and assist in rollout of Data Science & Machine Learning initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Certification in AWS or other relevant Data technologies.
- Experience with AWS, SQL Server data tools, ETL development, and mentoring data team members.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in maintaining large-scale data estates with emphasis on database design, performance tuning, and data security.
- Skilled in automating and optimizing data pipelines using Python, Lambdas, Event Bus, and AWS technologies.
- Able to translate complex data processes into documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
