About This Role
- Design and build testbeds and integrated/application tests simulating customer use-cases for SD-WAN and Security solutions on Cisco Meraki MX and Catalyst products via Cisco Meraki Dashboard.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, automation scripts, and conduct feature testing to support CI/CD and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate across global engineering teams to identify test gaps, improve automation coverage, fix defects, and contribute to AI-driven innovation targeting product quality enhancement.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in Software Development Engineer in Test with routing or SD-WAN domain focus, including 5+ years in automation/development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, Python, and Golang.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
- In-depth technical knowledge of SD-WAN, Security, Layer 2 (VLAN/802.1Q), Layer 3 (BGP/IP/OSPF/VPN/IPSec/NAT) networking protocols.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing test frameworks and automation for large-scale network and security product suites in cloud and physical environments.
- Demonstrates strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams and management.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and innovative approaches to testing, with familiarity in traffic generators like TRex, Spirent, or IXIA preferred.
