About This Role
- Design, build, and operate AI agents integrating network automation and ITSM platforms to automate network operations and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain backend services and deployment pipelines for AI agents ensuring production-grade safety with human-in-the-loop approval workflows and strict security controls.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to translate operational runbooks into AI agent capabilities and ensure observability and auditability of automated actions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience with strong Python skills and async service development (FastAPI, asyncio).
- Experience with LLM application development: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, RAG, multi-turn session management.
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals including Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, LAN/WAN/wireless architecture, and experience with ITSM (ServiceNow) and network orchestration platforms (Itential, NSO, or similar).
- Experience with Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent), and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in integrating AI agents with network infrastructure and ITSM tools to produce controlled, safe automation in large enterprise networks.
- Skillful in designing agent architectures that enforce strict approval gating and least privilege security for automation modifying production systems.
- Strong background in network automation scripting and operational runbook translation into AI-driven workflows with observability and audit trails.
