About This Role
- Develop and maintain generative AI applications and RAG pipelines using Python, LLM APIs, and vector databases.
- Build backend services and REST APIs with Python and FastAPI, integrating with LLM providers like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
- Support containerization (Docker), cloud deployment, debugging, testing, and collaboration with senior AI/ML engineers to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-4 years software engineering experience with hands-on exposure to generative AI, LLM applications, RAG, and backend development.
- Strong Python programming skills and backend development experience with FastAPI and REST APIs.
- Experience with LLM providers (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and practical knowledge of RAG concepts including embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, and basic cloud experience (Azure or AWS).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Practitioner with demonstrated ability to independently develop FastAPI services, integrate LLM APIs, build RAG pipelines, and manage vector databases.
- Experience working under senior guidance to implement AI-agent workflows and prompt engineering techniques for reliable LLM responses.
- Comfortable developing backend AI applications combining Python engineering and modern generative AI frameworks, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
