About This Role
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for desktop-based and equipment control software applications, including automated test suites.
- Lead software testing activities across product releases and development programs, collaborating globally with engineering and support teams.
- Qualify software releases and troubleshoot customer-reported issues to ensure high-quality outcomes across semiconductor equipment software products.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Validation.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies including Functional, Integration, Regression, System, GUI, and Performance Testing.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java or Python; experience with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT for testing and automation.
- Willingness to work on desktop applications, equipment control software, and hardware-integrated software solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building or working with automated test solutions in complex software environments including hardware-software integration.
- Technically skilled in debugging, root-cause analysis, and quality engineering best practices with exposure to semiconductor equipment software or industrial automation preferred.
- Capable of independently owning end-to-end testing activities and leading validation approaches based on product architecture and risk assessment.
