About This Role
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable data platforms using AWS-native services.
- Embed security guardrails into the data lifecycle; manage encryption, data masking, network security, and access controls.
- Build and manage automated data infrastructure pipelines (CI/CD); oversee orchestration, real-time monitoring, logging, and compliance auditing.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years professional experience in DataOps, DevOps, or Data Engineering roles, including minimum 4 years on AWS ecosystem.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services: EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, Terraform, EMR, Glue, Athena, Redshift, S3, Kinesis.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud security tools: IAM, KMS, VPC networking, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, CloudTrail.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline), container tech (Docker, Kubernetes), and data orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions).

- Experienced in building secure, scalable AWS data platforms with embedded data security and compliance.
- Practiced in automating infrastructure and data pipelines using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD in cloud-native environments.
- Comfortable researching and implementing new AWS and open-source data tools to solve complex infrastructure challenges.
