About This Role
- Design and implement new full stack features and robust REST APIs using Java, Spring, TypeScript, and React.
- Lead the modernization of a modular monolith Java application to a cloud-native platform with focus on scalability, observability, and deployment automation.
- Drive engineering excellence including automated testing, CI/CD, secure coding practices, mentorship, and architectural decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and experience with TypeScript and React (including Redux).
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud-native development preferably on Azure.
- Experience with large enterprise/legacy application modernization and working in Agile environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both maintaining existing enterprise Java systems and executing cloud modernization initiatives.
- Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across business, UX, QA, and DevOps.
- Skilled in applying secure development practices and fostering engineering standards and technical leadership.
