About This Role
- Lead the quality and testing strategy for complex scientific instrument and application software products with a focus on risk-based testing across the product lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation frameworks and reusable components using Python, Playwright, and related tools integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, QA, product teams, and DevOps while mentoring junior engineers and driving adoption of automation and AI capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of software development, QA automation, or test engineering experience.
- 12+ years of advanced programming skills in Python and Java.
- 3+ years of experience with AI tools, techniques, especially LLMs, RAG, AI agents.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, REST API automation, PyTest or similar, plus CI/CD integration experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced strategic technical leader able to define vision and drive adoption of automation and AI-enabled testing frameworks.
- Deep expertise in Python-based automation for UI, API, and integration testing in Agile environments.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, improve testing efficiency, and implement industry best practices in complex product contexts.
