About This Role
- Execute and lead enterprise server and workload migrations primarily to AWS, including source assessments, replication configuration, test migrations, cutover, and post-migration validation.
- Manage migration wave planning, troubleshoot infrastructure and OS issues during migrations, and collaborate with technical leads and application owners to ensure smooth delivery.
- Develop and support migration runbooks, automation of repetitive tasks, and contribution to reusable migration procedures to optimize migration efficiency and predictability.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of IT infrastructure experience including at least 2 years of hands-on cloud migration or cloud infrastructure experience.
- Hands-on experience migrating Windows and/or Linux servers to AWS, with practical experience using AWS services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, security groups, IAM, and migration tools like AWS MGN or similar.
- Strong Windows Server and/or Linux administration and troubleshooting skills; knowledge of VMware vSphere or equivalent virtualization technologies; understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years overall with minimum 2 years hands-on cloud migration. Location: TG, Telangana, India. No explicit notice period mentioned.
