About This Role
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across on-premise and cloud environments, including forensic investigations and root cause analysis.
- Proactively conduct threat hunting using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and the Cyber Kill Chain to identify sophisticated threats and improve detection strategies.
- Lead engineering projects and AI-based security automation efforts to enhance security operations beyond routine incident response.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, threat hunting, or similar cybersecurity roles.
- Proficiency with security log data analysis across Cloud, EDR, Network, and related telemetry for detection and response.
- Experience developing detection rules (e.g., YARA, Sigma, SQL, Network signatures) and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for security automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both endpoint and cloud security with a strong foundation in advanced threat detection methodologies and attacker TTP analysis following MITRE ATT&CK.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed environment with rotating time zones and on-call incident triage duties, indicating high adaptability.
- Capable of bridging operational security tasks with engineering and automation initiatives, collaborating closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
