About This Role
- Own Android platform development including AOSP and Automotive Android integration for next-gen automotive systems.
- Lead board support package (BSP), hardware abstraction layer (HAL) integration, and System on Chip (SoC) platform bring-up.
- Drive issue resolution independently for Android/SoC topics and system-level debugging using Android tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in Android development, preferably in Automotive Android domain.
- Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin and C/C++ with hands-on experience in Android Framework, AOSP, HAL (AIDL/HIDL), JNI.
- Experience with Android BSP/SoC integration and board bring-up including Linux Kernel, Device Tree, and Android drivers knowledge.
- Location requirement: Coimbatore.
- Work Experience Required: 6-8 years (Senior role).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and automotive infotainment system integration.
- Proficient in Android system-level debugging tools (ADB, logcat, dumpsys, systrace, perfetto) and version control with Git/Gerrit.
- Capable of independently owning and driving complex Android platform and SoC integration issues to closure in embedded automotive environments.
