About This Role
- Develop and implement packaging category strategies aligned with business objectives, including cost-saving and supplier management initiatives.
- Execute RFx events, supplier negotiations, contract management, and drive category performance metrics including cost optimization and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Packaging Engineering, R&D, manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams; manage supplier relationships and support sustainable packaging initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or packaging category management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; certification in Procurement/Sourcing (CIPS, CPSM) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma, or Manufacturing industries preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems like SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, or Ivalua; strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing global or multi-BU procurement operations with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Skilled in market intelligence, spend analytics, cost modeling, and driving strategic sourcing initiatives in packaging categories.
- Comfortable working with analytics and automation tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, AI-enabled procurement tools) and driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
