About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines including build, automated testing, security scanning, and deployment for frontend and backend applications.
- Manage multiple environments (dev, test, staging, production) with configuration management, controlled promotions, access control, and cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
- Implement security controls (secrets management, IAM, vulnerability scanning, audit logging, backup/restore), maintain monitoring and alerting, optimize cloud cost and performance, and document operational procedures in a part-time role.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform or equivalents.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with container technologies including Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes or managed container services (ECS, AKS, EKS, GKE) is a strong advantage.
- Familiar with security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and hands-on with secrets management, IAM, and vulnerability scanning in delivery pipelines.
- Able to work independently on a part-time basis with strong communication and documentation skills, managing priorities and availability clearly.
