About This Role
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright and Cypress in Agile environments.
- Assist in creating and executing test plans, perform UI, functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing, and analyze test results to identify defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, report issues, and contribute to automation framework maintenance.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress for UI automation.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript; knowledge of Java and Python is a plus.
- Graduation degree is required; Location: Kochi.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban with practical automation engineering skills.
- Capable of building and maintaining automation frameworks with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and basic RESTful API testing.
