About This Role
- Lead and execute migration from SQL Server data warehouse to Hadoop/Databricks platform ensuring performance and minimal disruption.
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and Delta Lake supporting AI-driven insights and real-time analytics.
- Provide operational excellence by maintaining data warehouses, optimizing SQL Server performance, ensuring data security, and mentoring junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with enterprise-scale data warehousing and pipeline design.
- Proven experience with SQL Server data warehouse modernization and Hadoop, Spark, Databricks pipeline architecture.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
