Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Develop scalable learning systems to extract and represent latent process structures from diverse, noisy data sources such as event logs, screen recordings, and UI traces.
- Design and evaluate algorithms for process variant detection, noise removal, and trace consolidation to produce canonical and auditable process representations.
- Collaborate across research, engineering, and product teams to transition prototypes to production and ensure downstream autonomous execution compatibility.
Minimum Requirements
- Work Experience Required: Not explicitly mentioned in the JD
- Strong fundamentals in algorithmic thinking including data structures, graph algorithms, approximation, indexing, and complexity for large-scale data processing.
- Demonstrated expertise in machine learning and deep learning methods including representation learning, sequence modeling, clustering, structured prediction, information retrieval, generative modeling, and foundation-model adaptation.
- Ability to translate cross-domain research from AI, computer vision, language modeling, process mining, program synthesis, and related areas into applicable solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Skilled in decomposing loosely defined, complex problems involving noisy, high-cardinality data into tractable sub-problems solvable at scale.
- Experience working at the intersection of research and production, able to prototype novel algorithms and transition them into robust, production-ready systems.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguous ground truth scenarios and balancing abstraction versus fidelity in process representations for downstream agentic systems.
