About This Role
- Owns implementation and operation of data center network services including builds, migrations, upgrades, expansions, and decommissions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Responsible for end-to-end network monitoring, troubleshooting complex routing, switching, and network services issues, and driving root-cause analysis to improve stability.
- Collaborates with application teams, infrastructure stakeholders, and vendors to plan and execute low-risk network changes, while contributing to automation and standardization to enhance operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience in network engineering within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and Cisco networking solutions (Nexus, Catalyst) or equivalent platforms (Arista, Juniper).
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools to assist infrastructure workflows with validation and security awareness.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with low-latency data center networking environments, preferably Nexus 3K or Arista-class platforms.
- Holds relevant networking certifications such as Cisco certifications indicating strong domain expertise.
- Skilled in scripting/automation (Python, Bash/KSH) to improve efficiency and has experience managing multi-platform enterprise environments with structured change management.
