About This Role
- Lead and manage end-to-end accounts payable operations for US-based clients, ensuring high-quality, timely processing including invoice management, vendor payments, reconciliations, and month/quarter/year-end close activities.
- Maintain client relationships, support contractual service reviews, and collaborate with internal and onshore stakeholders for seamless service delivery and process improvements.
- Manage and develop a large operational team, drive people agenda including resourcing, performance management, training, and retention, while controlling operational budgets and enabling continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10 years of operational experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Finance & Accounting teams in India supporting US clients.
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA mandatory.
- Strong command of business English (spoken and written) and prior experience leading teams is required.
- Experience with accounting tools and familiarity with Regulatory & Compliance guidelines related to financial services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced manager with demonstrated success leading large Finance & Accounts Payable teams in an offshore shared services or global delivery center environment for US clients.
- Commercially astute with ability to manage engagement costs and interact with senior client stakeholders confidently.
- Background or exposure to Financial Services industry segments like Insurance, Banking, Asset Management, and knowledge of banking operations and risk management is preferred.
