About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual software/firmware test suites for Qualcomm products, covering functional, integration, and system levels, with traceability to feature requirements.
- Collaborate with multiple software and hardware engineering teams to validate reference platform requirements including bring-up, debugging, and diagnostics for server platforms.
- Assist in establishing Quality Engineering and Release Engineering processes focusing on continuous integration and continuous deployment to achieve production-level software readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ to 4+ years of Software Engineering experience depending on degree level.
- Minimum 2 years of programming experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with software/firmware testing including developing automated test cases and validation on server platforms is required (preferred 8+ years overall with 5+ years focused on data center servers).
- Experience working with operating systems like Ubuntu Server, RHEL, SUSE, or Windows Server is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level engineer with extensive experience (8+ years) in software/firmware validation and automation, especially in data center server environments.
- Strong programming skills in C and/or Python combined with deep understanding of server platform firmware and OS integration for x86/ARM64/RISC-V architectures.
- Capable of working independently and providing guidance to team members, with influence on organizational decisions related to software validation and quality engineering processes.
