About This Role
- Own end-to-end development of frontend features for student-facing web applications using React/Next.js and GraphQL, including design, implementation, testing, rollout, and monitoring.
- Translate product requirements into component architecture and client-state management; debug cross-stack issues impacting the UI.
- Develop and maintain AI-powered study features with attention to validation, telemetry, security, and application performance optimization.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with production web applications and demonstrated feature ownership.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in GraphQL schema design and querying, client-state management (React Query, Redux Toolkit, or similar), and web fundamentals (security, performance, accessibility).
- Work Experience Required: 4+ years of frontend engineering experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable, high-traffic consumer web applications, preferably with AI-powered features.
- Comfortable working across frontend and backend technologies with foundational AWS infrastructure knowledge and ability to ramp into backend services (Java/Python).
- Skilled in automated testing, release validation, and maintaining high engineering quality including code review and documentation.
