About This Role
- Own the insurance accounting functionality and related reporting within State Street’s Fund Accounting and Administration platform.
- Lead business analysis, functional design, and requirements definition for product enhancements focused on insurance and investment accounting compliance and client outcomes.
- Manage delivery through agile teams, including prioritization, backlog management, testing, and client/internal training and support.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 10+ years as a business product owner or business analyst supporting insurance, fund accounting, or financial software platforms.
- Strong experience with insurance accounting and/or investment accounting including complex asset classes (fixed income, derivatives, mortgage loans, alternatives).
- Experience working in an agile software development environment as a product owner or business analyst.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Expertise in insurance and investment accounting with deep understanding of accounting logic and regulatory compliance.
- Experience collaborating directly with clients and internal stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into functional product enhancements.
- Ability to manage complex functional design, testing, and delivery processes in agile environments prioritizing business value and client impact.
