About This Role
- Lead the evolution and verification of middleware, mainframe, and distributed platforms focusing on risk reduction, efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support containerized applications using OpenShift/Kubernetes and automate with tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, and GitLab within CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage lifecycle of SSL certificates and security patching, coordinate application onboarding, and monitor middleware system performance to meet standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of related experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift).
- Experience with middleware technologies and tools: Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, IBM Liberty, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, AWS Cloud Services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end middleware and infrastructure lifecycle management including security and performance monitoring.
- Proficient operating within automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructures, especially AWS.
- Skilled at collaborating across teams to resolve technical issues and optimize platform stability and integration.
