About This Role
- Own and manage the end-to-end financial position, including budget (~GBP 25 million), forecast, actuals, and cost transparency for a global technology domain/platform portfolio.
- Run day-to-day financial operations (accruals, purchase orders, invoices, period-end close) ensuring compliance with central financial governance and standards.
- Provide financial insights, scenario modeling, and decision-quality data to senior leadership, influencing investment, sourcing, and cost-optimization decisions across regions and markets.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years overall experience with typically 10+ years in finance, including senior finance partnership to complex, global technology organisations.
- Experience owning budgets, forecasts, actuals and cost transparency for a technology function or domain covering multiple suppliers and cost categories.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Technology Management or related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA/CMA/CPA) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience managing financial operations aligned with fixed enterprise finance calendars including accruals, invoices, and period-end processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex technology financial management with demonstrated leadership over a material global technology cost base (~GBP 25 million).
- Ability to convert complicated financial data into clear, actionable insights and challenge senior leaders (Director to VP level) confidently.
- Skilled at integrating cost, supplier, licensing, and investment planning across multiple markets and regions, with strong emphasis on forecast accuracy and financial governance.
