About This Role
- Own end-to-end development and support of applications for ExxonMobil’s Upstream business, covering frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
- Serve as technical lead for complex applications, driving solution design, enforcing best practices, and coordinating contributions from other developers.
- Design and implement scalable, secure software solutions with a focus on performance optimization and troubleshooting across distributed systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least 2 years each in front-end development using Angular or React and JavaScript/TypeScript; at least 3 years backend development with C#, ASP.NET Core.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft Azure cloud development and familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and leading full stack solutions across UI, API, authentication, and cloud-native hosting environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Capable of independent work with global, cross-timezone teams, emphasizing software engineering best practices (OOAD, SOLID).
- Familiar with system design patterns including microservices, monolithic, and serverless architectures, with troubleshooting and optimization skills.
