About This Role
- Lead and coordinate technical activities and priorities for the WiFi and LAN network team in a global IT infrastructure environment.
- Provide hands-on engineering including architecture, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation for wireless and LAN services.
- Serve as liaison between engineers, customers, service management, and external providers to translate requirements into network service improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in network infrastructure with significant hands-on work in complex enterprise or project environments.
- Proven experience as a team lead, technical lead, or senior engineer coordinating and guiding others.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco wireless technologies including WLC, Catalyst Center, and Cisco ISE; and strong knowledge of LAN, WiFi, routing, and switching.
- Location requirement: Chennai, India, based at ASSA ABLOY office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading distributed teams and working with global service providers and partners in a multi-sourcing environment.
- Skilled in service management including SLAs, operational processes, continuous service improvement, and technical documentation.
- Able to balance hands-on technical contribution with team leadership and strategy execution in a global IT infrastructure network services context.
