About This Role
- Manage and optimize Azure compute services and on-premises Hyper-V clusters, including automation and orchestration for deployment, scaling, and management using PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on compute infrastructure incidents to ensure stability and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, network, security teams, and application owners for capacity planning, security compliance, and operational optimization in a hybrid cloud environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years managing compute infrastructure focusing on Microsoft technologies including Hyper-V and Windows Server administration.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure compute services and scripting skills in PowerShell; familiarity with Azure CLI and ARM templates is highly preferred.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies, preferably using Veeam; ability to document technical procedures; good English communication skills.
