About This Role
- Lead design, development, and deployment of microservices primarily using Python, Django/Flask, SQL/NoSQL, and serverless architectures within Disney's Quote-to-Cash technology stack.
- Own the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and influence software engineering best practices and architecture standards across the team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in web application development or software engineering in a large enterprise environment using modern frameworks.
- Expertise in Python and frameworks such as Django and/or Flask; experience with SQL/NoSQL databases; strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS Lambda, Terraform, Kubernetes), containerization, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Redis (Elasticache), serverless architectures, observability tooling (DataDog), and Agile/Lean methodologies.

- Strong background in developing large-scale, highly available, and scalable cloud-native microservices on AWS leveraging serverless architecture.
- Capable of providing technical leadership and mentorship, with a track record of championing quality engineering and testing best practices.
