About This Role
- Own pricing strategy for ad inventory including rate cards, floor prices, and pricing models across formats, geographies, and channels.
- Identify and size revenue growth opportunities across Direct Sales and programmatic channels, develop business cases, and measure impact of pricing and product changes.
- Analyze yield metrics (eCPM, fill rate, auction dynamics) to optimize monetization and support sales with pricing frameworks and revenue planning aligned with Finance and leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in ads strategy, monetization, pricing, yield management or revenue strategy, ideally in ad tech or consumer internet.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced SQL (BigQuery preferred), financial modeling in spreadsheets, and proficiency with BI tools.
- Demonstrated track record of managing pricing or revenue decisions that led to measurable growth.
- Experience presenting strategy and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strategic, data-driven thinker capable of aligning cross-functional teams (Revenue Strategy, Monetization, Product, Sales, Finance) around revenue initiatives.
- Deep understanding of ad monetization concepts including direct vs programmatic sales, auction mechanics, eCPM, and pricing models.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to lead projects from hypothesis through rollout, testing, and impact measurement without direct authority over stakeholders.
