About This Role
- Manage public consultation and engagement activities across various stages of infrastructure project consenting processes, including early feasibility and delivery through construction.
- Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement strategies and consultation materials, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
- Lead project management responsibilities ensuring resources meet timelines and budgets, and provide technical advice on consenting requirements to clients.
Minimum Requirements
- Post Graduate qualification in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Economics, Statistics, Management, Social Studies, or relevant subject.
- More than 7 years’ experience delivering engagement and consultation activities on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Experience in sectors such as road, rail, utilities, water, environment, or energy.
- Strong knowledge of UK political structures, consenting processes, and requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to manage and build stakeholder relationships, including with statutory bodies.
- Demonstrated skills in developing engagement strategies and writing for varied audiences, from the general public to technical reports.
- Experience working in fast-changing environments with well-organized, flexible approach to task delivery.
