About This Role
- Lead engineering standards, design assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement for industrial automation projects covering process, discrete and hybrid engagements.
- Manage teams responsible for Engineering Standards and Trusted Content, Design Assurance and Quality, Engineering Continuous Improvement, and Technical Competency and Training functions.
- Act as senior technical authority for automation technologies, supporting engineering governance, technical escalation, and customer design reviews, focusing on raising quality, consistency, and repeatability across projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 15+ years experience in industrial automation engineering including leadership in engineering teams, technical governance, or engineering excellence functions.
- Six Sigma certification mandatory.
- Hybrid work model based in Pune, India with onsite expectations at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with deep hands-on knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, drives, motion, and safety systems across process and discrete automation domains.
- Proven ability to establish and govern engineering standards and quality management systems in project delivery environments.
- Skilled in managing and developing diverse technical expert teams across multiple domains and regions, with focus on succession planning and technical competency growth.
