About This Role
- Architect and manage large-scale data streaming and ingestion frameworks using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, HBase, Impala, Databricks, and DBT to support enterprise-scale Big Data initiatives.
- Lead and contribute hands-on (70%) to application design, development, troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning within a modern big data ecosystem transitioning from a 3PB data warehouse.
- Define and implement migration strategies for seamless data lake ingestion and partner with offerings teams to build new big data capabilities aligned to business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of IT experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Mandated to work in UK time zone.
- Experience with big data platforms and tools including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Databricks, and Azure Portal management.

- Proven background in large-scale data architecture and hands-on software development in big data environments.
- Experience driving enterprise data warehouse to big data ecosystem transformation projects.
- Comfortable operating independently with technical leadership and cross-level communication responsibilities.
