About This Role
- Accountable for setting and delivering multi-year reliability strategy and engineering roadmap for global cloud and hosting platforms, ensuring measurable service reliability through defined SLOs and observability instrumentation.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, resilience engineering, and automation of toil reduction across multiple interdependent services with material operational, regulatory, and financial impact.
- Govern cross-platform reliability standards and strategy, influence investment and supplier decisions, and mentor senior engineers across geographic and organizational boundaries without direct line authority.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years overall experience with 10-12+ years in infrastructure, cloud, platform or reliability engineering, including 5+ years hands-on Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Operations experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or GCP, Linux and Windows servers, Containers/Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Python scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud observability platforms.
- Experience operating global 24x7 business-critical cloud/hosting services, defining and managing SLOs, major incident response, root-cause analysis, and resilience testing.

- Senior technical leader skilled at influencing and setting direction across multiple global teams and domains without direct authority, including managing complex supplier ecosystems and technology portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to apply deep engineering expertise in automation, observability, AI-driven anomaly detection, and self-healing to improve service reliability and reduce manual toil.
- Experienced in collaborating with executive-level stakeholders by communicating quantified risks, trade-offs, and investment recommendations in clear business terms.
