About This Role
- Lead detailed data profiling and quality assessments on insurance source systems to identify data issues and transformation needs.
- Design, develop, and execute data migration scripts and pipelines using SQL and ETL tools like Astera Centerprise, including API-based data ingestion.
- Manage migration activities including validation, reconciliation, cutover planning, and ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards such as GDPR.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience as a data migration or data analyst, ideally in insurance or life & pensions sector.
- Proficient in SQL across relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with ETL/data migration tools; Astera Centerprise experience highly desirable.
- Experience designing and consuming REST or SOAP APIs for data ingestion/extraction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of insurance Policy Administration Systems (PAS) and policy lifecycle data structures (quotes, policies, claims).
- Proven ability to independently manage migration workstreams and communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with PAS migration programs targeting cloud-based platforms and familiarity with London Market/Specialty insurance data models is advantageous.
