About This Role
- Design and build scalable backend services for international Order and Fulfillment Management Systems (OMS/FMS) across multiple markets with locale-specific business logic.
- Lead technical design and architecture of core order lifecycle domains including order capture, inventory reservation, fulfillment routing, and post-order flows.
- Drive platform convergence to unify OMS/FMS platforms, enable AI/ML capabilities, and maintain operational excellence for Tier-0/1 ecommerce systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience focused on backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, event-driven architectures (Kafka), and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale, multi-market/multi-tenant platforms, and cloud-native development on Azure or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 4+ years software engineering experience, or 6+ years software engineering experience without degree.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven technical leadership in designing and operating large-scale, international ecommerce order and fulfillment systems.
- Experience building multi-tenant, locale-aware backend services handling complex business rules and compliance across geographies.
- Strong background in microservices, cloud infrastructure, and applying AI/ML-driven capabilities to ecommerce platforms.
