About This Role
- Provide technical and business support for Citi Applications users, addressing issues, and coordinating with internal technology teams and vendors for long-term solutions.
- Participate in application releases including development, testing, deployment, and post-release checkouts to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Drive support projects focused on improving application stability, efficiency, and effectiveness while analyzing applications for risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in applications support or related technical areas.
- Technical skills in Unix/Linux, SQL, Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS or Google), Oracle, Couchbase, and monitoring/observability tools such as Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or Google Cloud Observability.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and products, problem management tools, and experience in application support procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling application support in a complex, regulated financial environment with exposure to cloud and Kubernetes platforms.
- Capable of working independently with good judgment and ownership of technical support projects impacting business stability and efficiency.
- Good communication and diplomatic skills to interact effectively with users, stakeholders, and internal technology teams.
