About This Role
- Develop and enhance enterprise-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Work with SQL Server databases for query optimization and performance improvements along with developing and maintaining automated tests for application reliability.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability; participate actively in code reviews and Agile team processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Proficient in microservices and REST API development plus experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Experience with test frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT); Note: applicants may be required to attend onsite interviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hands-on engineer with strong Java development skills and proven ability to deliver maintainable, secure software.
- Demonstrated experience in test automation and quality-first software development approaches.
- Comfortable incorporating and validating AI-driven engineering workflows within Agile development environments.
