About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of backend-heavy full stack features for vertical-specific industry solutions including data models, workflows, automations, and integrations.
- Own significant technical initiatives to create reusable, configurable industry layers and templates deployable per vertical without core product forks.
- Collaborate with core platform and product teams to ensure scalable, maintainable, and compliant solutions; mentor engineers and contribute across the full development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend systems and API design.
- Proficiency with Node.js/NestJS, TypeScript, distributed systems, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases at scale.
- Experience building scalable APIs and integrations with third-party systems, including handling auth flows, rate limits, data syncing, and error recovery.
- Familiarity or willingness to use GCP services like Cloud Tasks, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
