About This Role
- Lead design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, robust, and secure next-generation platforms used across multiple countries for marketing, AD delivery, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with global Walmart engineering teams, product management, and cross-functional teams to drive product agenda, priorities, and technical decisions within architectural guidelines.
- Own end-to-end development including high-level and low-level design, implementation, documentation, and application of best practices to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets.
Minimum Requirements
- 11+ years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications and platforms.
- Strong Java development experience, including microservices, RESTful web services (SpringBoot, Dropwizard, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices architecture, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps/CI-CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, related area with minimum 4 years experience; or 6 years experience in software engineering without degree (as per minimum qualifications).

- Experienced in driving technical design discussions and decisions for large-scale cloud-based platform projects with end-to-end ownership.
- Familiar with agile methodologies and able to work cross-functionally with architecture, product management, and global teams.
- Skilled in prototyping technical solutions, focused on scalability, robustness, and security in distributed platform environments.
